There is not really any more you can say!! Great field to play on and gametype worked perfectly.
Gerald did an absolute stunning job with the organizing and running of everything. Well done!!! And boy did he not lie about prizes for everyone!!
Saterday was hot! Someone mentioned 38 degree C and that took alot out of us. The games was very tense and sprinting across the plain in that sand was excausting. I was not keen to play on sunday with the rain but once we got into it it actually was very very nice. The pressure was off and the rain actually added to the atmoshere. The first scenario game was really really fun. Donno how long it was, felt like hours for one game but it was awesome!!! The firefights in that dense bush was unreal!!!
I can recommend next year to anyone interested, you WILL not be dissapointed. With everything planned it will be an even better event.
Conrats to team Wolverine with their win!! Hooligans-R-Us did our best but just could not make up that last 10 points for the lead!! Well played!! The last play off game between us and Wolverine with just 10 points in it for first place (remember that a flag was worth 15, all five flags an extra 10 and a kill 2 points) it was open to anyone to win or loose!! It ended with 2 minutes left on the clock with both teams snagging all 5 flags and only one player left on each team, ie a tie!! The marshals said both teams snagged the last flag at exactly the same time.
The capetonion hospitality was exceptional and a absolute pleasure to have met them all. Both our teams will be back next year and hopefully bring a few of our other members with.
