Designed by H&K in 1996 as a compact version of the standard USP for the German military, the USP is actually a derived version to the larger MK23 SOCOM pistol. The USP (Universal Selbstlade Pistole) is a benchmark for the modern tactical pistol. In real steel form, there are 10 different versions of the USP pistol. KSC's model here represents the 9mm double action trigger model which was released in 2000 specifically as a police pistol. KSC finally brings out a high quality and reliable version of the USP compact here, and it offers crisp blowback and operation with decent power. Metal parts include: slide stop, safety, magazine, adjustable front sight, real sight, trigger, magazine catch, and recoil spring guide. The safety is combined as a decocking lever - pull it down to SAFE and the hammer uncocks automatically. Upgrading to metal slide and barrel (includes stiffer recoil spring) is highly recommended and gives this USP a very realistic and solid feel!
